James provides analytical support to the Sustainable Finance team, focusing on mobilising capital towards achieving net zero and Paris-aligned objectives. He also supports research within Climateworks Centre.
Prior to joining Climateworks, James developed a financial risk perspective working as an investment analyst with banks and fund managers. Specifically, he supported liquidity, currency, interest rate and equity market risk management activities. This experience has been applied to feasibility studies assessing renewable electricity systems for schools and off-grid communities.
James holds a Master of Environment from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance) from Monash University.
