Chunxi Zhang

Chunxi Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of atmospheric science and scientific programming. They most recently worked as a Senior Atmospheric Scientist at Climavision since March 2023. Prior to that, Chunxi worked at Lynker as a Senior Scientific Programmer/Analyst from September 2022 to March 2023. They also held the same role at I. M. Systems Group Inc. (IMSG) from February 2022 to August 2022. Before that, Chunxi worked as a Support Scientist III at I. M. Systems Group Inc. (IMSG) from March 2019 to February 2022. They have also worked as a Research Scientist at the Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms, University of Oklahoma from July 2017 to February 2019. Chunxi's earlier experience includes roles as a Regional Atmospheric Modeling Specialist at the International Pacific Research Center, University of Hawaii at Manoa from January 2013 to June 2017, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution from August 2009 to December 2012. They began their postdoctoral research career at the Shanghai Typhoon Institute from August 2007 to July 2009.

Chunxi Zhang pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology from 1998 to 2002. Following this, Chunxi Zhang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Atmospheric Science from Peking University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
