Protein Functionality and Food Application Research at Climax Foods

Gosia Jakubasch has worked in the food industry since 2004. Gosia began their career as a Laboratory Technologist at the Food Control and Testing Laboratory, Trade Inspection Services. In 2004, they also began working as a Food Scientist (Doctoral candidate) at the Technical University of Munich, where they managed an industrial research project in collaboration with G.C. Hahn & Co. From 2010 to 2013, they were a QA/QC Laboratory Assistant at United Dairymen of Arizona, where they inspected the quality of incoming ingredients, dairy products and environmental sanitation conditions in an industrial environment. Gosia also experienced in microbiological analysis of milk, dairy products, drinking and waste water, and sterilization techniques, as well as performing physical and chemical analysis of dairy products and plant waste water. In 2013, they began working at Eat JUST, Inc. as a Scientist, and was promoted to Senior Scientist in the same year. Most recently, they began working at Climax Foods in 2020 as a Protein Functionality and Food Application Research.

Gosia Jakubasch obtained their Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Food Science and Biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich between 2004 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science in Food Technology and Engineering from Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie between 1998 and 2003.
