Melanie Caponigro has a strong background in accounting, with extensive experience at Wayside Technology Group. Melanie began their career at Wayside in 1996 as a Senior Accountant and held this position until 2003. In this role, Melanie was responsible for various financial tasks, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll oversight.
In 2003, Melanie transitioned to a new role as the School Accountant at Red Bank Board of Education. Melanie held this position for one year before returning to Wayside Technology Group in 2004.
Upon their return to Wayside, Melanie took on the role of Director of Accounting. In this senior-level role, they provided support in reducing errors and ensuring accuracy in financial statements. Melanie was also responsible for preparing footnote support for annual reports and overseeing payroll processes for multiple operations.
