Dr. Matthias Roos

Dr. Matthias Roos has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dr. Matthias is currently working at Climedo as the Associate Director of Strategy, where they joined in 2022, and is also serving as the Pharma Sector Lead. Prior to this, they worked at Trials24 GmbH as the Director of Business Development starting in 2022. In 2021, they held the position of Team Lead of Business Development at VERTANICAL GmbH. Dr. Roos also has experience at McKinsey & Company, where they worked as a Senior Associate from 2020 to 2021 and as an Associate from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2019. Dr. Matthias began their postdoctoral research career at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in 2017 as a Postdoctoral Researcher.

Dr. Matthias Roos has a strong educational background in physics and biophysics. Dr. Matthias obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in 2010. Dr. Matthias continued their studies at the same institution and achieved a Master's degree in Physics in 2012. Dr. Roos then pursued their Ph.D., equivalent to a "Dr. rer. nat." degree, in Biophysics at The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and successfully completed it in 2016 with the highest distinction of "summa cum laude." Dr. Matthias'sresearch interests have likely revolved around the intersection of physics and biology. In 2018, Dr. Roos also attained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University via Coursera, indicating an interest in expanding their knowledge and skills beyond their primary field of study.
