Daniel Cardenas

Daniel Cardenas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Daniel currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Clinica Sierra Vista since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the SVP Chief Information Officer at Valley Republic Bank from March 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they held roles such as VP Chief Information Officer, VP - IT Manager, and IT Manager at Valley Republic Bank from 2013 to 2021. Daniel started their career as an Application Analyst at Citizens Business Bank from May 2010 to July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Helpdesk Tech at San Joaquin Bank from February 2008 to May 2010.

Daniel Cardenas obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Information Systems, from DeVry University between 2015 and 2018. Daniel has also received additional certifications, including becoming a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in December 2023, obtaining a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2020, achieving the Certified Community Bank Security Officer (CCBCO) certification from ICBA in 2019, and earning a Project Management Certificate from Cal State University, Bakersfield in 2018. Additionally, Daniel has certifications in ITIL Foundation Level and ITIL Service Strategy, both obtained from Pink Elephant.
