Krista Marcello

Senior Director, Educational Strategy at Clinical Care Options

Krista Marcello has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry spanning over two decades. Krista started their career in 1996 as a Hematology/Oncology Research Data Manager and Tumor Registry Manager at North Shore Cancer Center. Krista then worked as a Sr. Clinical Research Associate at Lahey Clinic from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they joined Central Maine Medical Center as a Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator from 2009 to 2010.

In 2010, Krista became self-employed and worked as a Freelance Medical Writer until 2013. Krista then joined Clinical Care Options and held various positions, starting as a Clinical Editor from 2013 to 2015. Krista subsequently took on roles as a Scientific Director, Oncology from 2015 to 2019, and later as an Associate Director, and then Director of Educational Strategy, Hematology and Oncology from 2019 to 2022. Recently, they have been serving as the Senior Director of Educational Strategy at Clinical Care Options from August 2022.

Krista Marcello completed their education at the following institutions:

- Krista attended Massena Central HS from an unknown start date to 1988.

- Krista then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/pre-med from Boston University, completing it in 1992.

- Krista Marcello then enrolled in the PhD program in Neuroscience at the University of Connecticut and successfully finished it in 1995.
