Mia Castagnero

Mia Castagnero has a diverse work experience. Mia began their career as a Research Assistant, Women's Lacrosse Student Athlete, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Richmond from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they were the Head Coach at Carolina Fever Lacrosse. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Clinical Research Assistant at PMG Research. Since 2019, they have been working at Optum as a Business Development Associate. In this role, they surpassed 2020 sales quota by 236%, created new business by analyzing health care markets and industry trends, developed sales strategies, managed leads, and communicated effectively with hospital executives. In 2021, they began working at CRIO as a Business Development Manager and Executive.

Mia Castagnero holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Healthcare Studies and Psychology (double major) from the University of Richmond. Mia also studied at Centro Universitario EUSA in Seville, Spain.
