Vasia Dekou

Vasia Dekou currently serves as the Director of Operations and Innovation at Clinical Services International (CSI) since September 2022. Previously, Vasia held the position of Innovation Business Partner and was also a Senior Clinical Research Programme Enterprise Fellow at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from November 2015 to September 2022, where the Burns Unit is recognized for treating over 3,000 new burns patients annually. Vasia's earlier experience includes roles such as Programme Leader at Autolus Ltd., Programme Operations Manager at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and Senior Clinical Project Manager at TrialReach. Vasia also worked as Project Director for the Gates Foundation/UCL HIV Vaccine Discovery Consortium, Scientific Advisor and Technical Manager at LGC Standards, and Medical Officer at St Thomas' Hospital, contributing to various fields including translational research and biopharmaceutical development. Vasia's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine from UCL and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Queen Mary, University of London.
