Ignacio (Iggy) Handal

Ignacio (Iggy) Handal has worked in the medical and healthcare industry since 2003. Ignacio (Iggy) began their career as a Clinical Research Associate at Harmonex Neuroscience Research in 2003. In 2005, they were promoted to Director of Clinical Research and oversaw the initiation, regulatory documentation, contractual negotiations, accounting, collections, patient visits, EDC data, Quality Control, Training of all staff, and management of all clinical studies. In 2008, they became a Founding Member and Chairman of Downtown Investment Group, where they were responsible for purchasing, preserving, and restoring 50,000 Sqft of historic city center property, creating over 48 jobs in their community, and co-founding the monthly Downtown Street Festival. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Director of Clinical Project Management and Director of Program Management at Biorasi, where they managed and oversaw assigned teams of global project management staff, clinical teams, data management teams, and quality/safety staff. Ignacio (Iggy) achieved the company record for fastest site identification to site activation timeline execution for any study, as well as the company record for fastest “First Subject In” for any study. In 2020, they joined CLINICOM as Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, as well as Board of Directors- Chief Operating Officer - Global Head of R&D. Ignacio (Iggy) is responsible for the world’s first comprehensive online Mental Health Assessment Tool that screens for over 80 psychiatric conditions remotely and securely.

Ignacio Handal attended Auburn University from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Microbiology.
