Eng Chrispinus Onyancha

Eng Chrispinus Onyancha has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. In 2011, they were the Managing Director and Senior Software Engineer at creativeDNA (U) LTD, where they were responsible for leading and coordinating the governance-related strategies and activities for creativeDNA’s holding in East Africa as well as developing software solutions. Eng Chrispinus also served as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for ensuring that all services were implemented and operated correctly. In 2016, they were the Founder, CEO and Ag. CTO at clinicPesa, where they were responsible for empowering every person and organization to save lives and do more. Eng Chrispinus was also the Author and Instructor at Packt, where they were responsible for creating highly scalable real-time apps with MEAN stack. In 2019, they became the MIT D-Lab Scale-Ups Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Eng Chrispinus Onyancha's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Makerere University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Eng Chrispinus also completed an Engineer's degree on Coursera from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate from St Paul's College Mbale between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Lightbend Akka Cluster - Sharding (Scala) certification from Lightbend, Inc. in October 2020.
