Karl O'Callaghan

Karl O'Callaghan is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in commercial medicine, marketing, and strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial Medicines and Representative Director at Clinigen since September 2020, Karl has been involved in market entry, business planning, and financial modeling. As an Associate Professor at GLOBIS University since October 2015, Karl teaches Strategy, Marketing, and Management to a diverse group of business professionals. As the founder of kaigai.world, a consultancy supporting Japanese companies in overseas expansion, Karl provides strategy consulting and marketing support. Previous roles include Strategy Director at JCE Japan Creative Enterprise, Head of Marketing & Operations at UK Trade & Investment, and various marketing positions at Oxford University Press. Karl holds an MBA from GLOBIS University and a BA in French & Russian from the University of Bradford.
