Mark Ashton-Blanksby

Mark Ashton-Blanksby has extensive work experience in finance, risk management, and audit. Mark started their career as an Audit Manager at RSM Tenon in 2007 and worked there until 2013. Mark then moved to Icca Education Training and Skills, where they held the roles of Senior Manager and later Associate Director from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Mark worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG UK. Currently, they are with Clinigen, where they have held various senior positions since joining in 2020, including Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk, Head of Risk, Assurance & ESG, VP Risk, Assurance & Compliance, and currently VP Commercial Finance.

Mark Ashton-Blanksby earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Birmingham City University in 1999-2003. Mark furthered their education and obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Audit Management & Consultancy from Birmingham City University in 2004-2006. Additionally, they achieved the CMIIA (Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors) qualification from 2004-2007, specializing in Internal Audit.
