Kate Neese has over two decades of experience in waste management and environmental education in Michigan. Since February 2011, Kate has served as the Waste Management Coordinator for Clinton County, where responsibilities include coordinating special waste collections, overseeing drop-off recycling sites, enforcing the Solid Waste Management Plan, and collaborating with Tri-County agencies. Prior to this role, Kate spent six years as the Recycling Coordinator for Tuscola County, managing the county's only drop-off recycling center and coordinating waste collections. Earlier experience includes serving as the Resource Recovery Coordinator for Eaton County, where Kate managed environmental education programs and recycling initiatives. Kate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Michigan State University in 1998.
