Rob Cruiess has over 25 years of experience in the education space. From 1993 to 2000, they served as a Middle School Teacher for the School District of Philadelphia, where they taught grades 6, 7, and 8 mathematics and developed programs for social conscious efforts, adult computer learning programs, and an afterschool program for student community outreach. Rob also served as the building IT coordinator and school district technology liaison. From 2000 to 2004, they were a Senior Technical Project Manager at Scientific Learning, where they managed technical operations for the Eastern United States, developed implementation plans, oversaw installations, and led the post-sales support team. Rob also served as the lead Technical Sales Representative for the region. From 2004 to 2007, they were the Senior Area Manager at Wireless Generation, where they managed all aspects of customer relations throughout the Central and Southeastern regions of the United States and led team members who supported the region. Rob was also instrumental in the company's single largest sale at that time, a $5M contract with the Chicago Public Schools. From 2007 to 2013, they were the Head of Business Development - Strategic Alliances at Promethean, where they managed third-party partnerships, developed a “bring to market” strategy, developed product and content sales strategy, and managed alliance cross-departmental communication. Rob also cultivated strategic partnerships with national and highly recognized organizations. From 2013 to present, they have been the Vice President of Sales at Clinton Learning Solutions, where they are responsible for managing sales, business development, and sales operations. Rob has developed and managed manufacturer relationships with educational technologies companies, negotiated reseller partnerships, and maintained marketing efforts between the organizations.
Rob Cruiess received their BA in History from Temple University in 1991 and their M.Ed in Elementary Education from Temple University in 1994. Rob also completed a Certificate in Technology in the Classroom from The University of the Arts in 1999.
