Akmal Urazbaev began their work experience in 2011 as an intern at FGH Services, Inc, where they developed a web application for task scheduling and tracking. Akmal then worked at McGill University as an Administrative Clerk from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Kobo Inc. as a .Net Developer and later became a Senior .Net Developer. From 2016 to 2018, Akmal worked at Figure 1 as a Team Lead. Akmal then joined KOHO as a Technical Lead in 2018 and later became a Senior Software Development Manager. Currently, Akmal is employed at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology as a Software Development Manager.
Akmal Urazbaev attended Concordia University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including "Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems," "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python," and "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems" from Coursera Verified Certificates. These certifications were obtained in 2014, with the "Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures" certification obtained in July, the "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" certification obtained in May, and the "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems" certification obtained in April.
