Kevin de Vlaming

Kevin de Vlaming has extensive experience in software development and management. Kevin is currently working as a Software Development Manager at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology since April 2023. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Tableau from February 2022 to January 2023, where they led full stack teams in maintaining and enhancing the Tableau Public website and platform. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at PayByPhone from April 2020 to February 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Integris Software from August 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Tasktop from July 2017 to August 2019. Kevin began their career as a Software Developer at Entero Corporation from May 2015 to July 2017, where they worked on the design and development of the Entero One software platform. Kevin also has experience as a Jr Software Developer at SAIT Polytechnic from May 2014 to April 2015, and as a Financial Service Coordinator and Senior Client Service Representative at BMO Financial Group from March 2011 to May 2014. Overall, Kevin has a strong background in software development and has held various management positions throughout their career.

Kevin de Vlaming has a diverse education history. Kevin started by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Calgary, which they completed between 2002 and 2007. After that, they pursued a Certificate in Journalism from Mount Royal University from 2008 to 2009. Later, Kevin pursued a Diploma in Information Technology/Software Development from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 2013 and 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has also obtained two additional certifications. In October 2016, they completed the PMC-II (Pragmatic Marketing Foundations & Focus) certification from Pragmatic Marketing. In February 2023, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
