Xander Riga

Xander Riga has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and web development. Xander started their career as a Developer/Designer, creating a successful mobile game using C#, Unity, and Visual Studio. Xander then worked as a Corporate Services & Digital Technologies Intern at Kaiser Permanente, where they developed an executive dashboard and provided analysis on IoT device privacy and security in healthcare.

Xander also co-founded and developed a web-based photography business called Usurf.co, using WordPress and various programming languages. Xander worked as a Software Developer Co-op at FTS Inc., writing production server-side software and leading the redesign of the login and authentication platform for a mobile application.

In their role as a Full Stack Web Developer at the University of Victoria, Xander was the lead developer for the university bookstore's e-commerce website, utilizing PHP, Symfony, Twig, and Doctrine frameworks, as well as MySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

Xander has also worked as a Software Developer at JUUL Labs and a Senior Software Engineer at Ollie Order. Currently, Xander is a Software Developer at Seam, and starting in 2023, they will be a Software Developer at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology.
