Juan Armas

Juan Armas is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in nanotechnology and analytical chemistry. Currently serving as Associate Scientist III at Slingshot Biosciences since October 2022, Juan specializes in microfluidics, nanoparticles, polymer chemistry, and bioconjugation. Previously held positions include Research Associate II at Clip Health, where Juan developed nanoparticle characterization methods and trained staff on antibody nanoparticle conjugation. As an Inorganic Chemist at Heliotrope Technologies, Juan focused on nanoparticle synthesis and analytical quality control, and as an Analytical Chemist at Chevron, conducted advanced spectroscopic analyses. Juan began a research career at the University of California, Santa Cruz, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and gaining expertise in synthesizing and characterizing nanoparticles.
