Juan Arthos has over 20 years of work experience in the software industry. Juan started their career at Macosa in 1996 as a Software Developer, specializing in the COBIS internet banking system and its related components. Juan participated in projects for financial institutions across Latin America. In 2003, they joined BAYTEQ Cia. Ltda. as a Project Manager, where they led development teams and worked on various types of applications for different industries. In 2008, they joined Cobiscorp as a Software Architect, responsible for designing and developing COBIS frameworks, tools, and middleware applications. Juan also acted as the Product Manager for the COBIS Language, overseeing the development team and roadmap. Juan used technologies such as Java, Python, Angular 9, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2020, they joined Clip as a Software Architect. No end date is provided for this role.

Juan Arthos obtained their IT Engineer degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, where they studied from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including SAFe Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2017, Programa de Habilidades Gerenciales from IE Business School in March 2012, and PMP certification from PMI in January 2006.
