Oscar Torres

Oscar Torres has a diverse work experience, having held roles at Clipboard Health, QMP Tutoring, Radiance Mental Health, Pomona College, University of California San Diego, and Harvey Mudd College. In 2022, they began working as an SDR at Clipboard Health. In 2020, they founded QMP Tutoring, where they are responsible for sales and marketing tasks, including web design and Google keyword search ads. In 2021, they were the Director of Radiance Mental Health, where they directed key operations such as outbound sales, fundraising, recruitment, and industry research.

From 2019 to 2021, Oscar Torres worked at Pomona College in various roles. Oscar was a Quantative Skills Center Partner, an Electricity and Magnetism Lab Teaching Assistant, a Research Assistant for Whitaker Lab, and a Physics 101 Lab Teaching Assistant. In 2019, they were also a Research Assistant at University of California San Diego, where they were selected for a competitive REU and developed a standard operating procedure for measuring stress, strain, and strain rate of samples under high pressure.

In 2018, they worked as an Electricity and Magnetism Lab Teaching Assistant, an Oldenborg Center Spanish Language Tutor, and a Research Assistant at Pomona College. Oscar began their work experience in 2015 as an Upward Bound Tutor at Harvey Mudd College.

Oscar Torres attended Pomona College from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Philosophy. Oscar also attended Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2017 to 2018.
