Gary Ellis

Gary Ellis is an experienced accounting professional, currently serving as Managing Partner at Clive Owen LLP since January 1996, where expertise includes business development, audit, accounting, and taxation for owner-managed businesses, as well as involvement in the Academy school sector. Prior to this role, Gary held leadership positions including Chair of the Board of Corporation at New College Durham from 2016 to June 2020, and partnerships at G J Ellis & Co and Haines Watts from 1994 to 1995 and 1989 to 1993, respectively. Gary holds a BA Hons in Accounting & Finance from Liverpool John Moores University, completed in 1984, and attended Wellfield Grammar School from 1974 to 1981.
