Clayton Freeman

Clayton (Clay) joined ArrowMark in 2008 as an Investment Analyst and has supported the firm’s equity, credit, & multi-asset strategies during his tenure. Today Clay’s primary responsibilities include serving as Portfolio Manager for Meridian Enhanced Equity Fund, leading the risk management strategies and idea generation for ArrowMark’s multi-asset investment strategies, driving private company partnerships and investments as a member of ArrowMark’s Capital Solutions Group Investment Committee, and representing ArrowMark’s investment team as a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. ArrowMark’s Capital Solutions Group, where Clay is a member of the Investment Committee, is focused on building long-term partnerships with high quality private companies and supporting those partners’ capital needs (debt & equity) throughout their lifecycle (public & private). Clay has served as Board Member to SmartLabs, Inc, Convene, and CLMBR and remains a Board Observer for Starry, Inc. Prior to joining ArrowMark, Clay began his formal investment career working as a research associate at Janus Capital Group. Clay graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado and earned an MBA with a Finance concentration from the Daniels College of Business at Denver University.
