John Zannis

John Zannis serves as President and Director of Content at CLNS Media since January 2018, overseeing content strategy and talent acquisition for the leading online provider of audio and video content in the region. In addition to this role, Zannis is a Professor of Journalism and Communication Studies at Emerson College, teaching Sports Communication and Sports Media studies. Zannis is also the Executive Director at Pivott Media Partners, contributing to the media landscape since January 2020. Previous positions include Director of Studio Content at NBC Sports Boston, Executive Producer of News for Comcast Sports Group, and Sports Executive Producer at 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV. Zannis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 1994 and 1997.
