Guhan Velmurugan

Guhan Velmurugan is a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in energy technology and digital building engineering. Currently serving as the Digital Building Engineering Manager at Clockworks Analytics since August 2025, Guhan previously held positions at Berkeley Lab as an Energy Technology Researcher II from October 2023 to August 2025, and at Clockworks Analytics from November 2019 to October 2023, where roles included Digital Building Engineer - Team Lead II and Lead Building Analyst. Prior experience includes serving as an Energy Engineer at Stark Tech Group, focusing on HVAC performance analysis and energy audits, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where research on complex fluid dynamics was conducted. Guhan began a career in engineering as a Product Engineer at The Sanmar Group, contributing to valve design and development. Guhan holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
