Rachel Kennedy, PE, CCNA has an extensive work experience in engineering and related fields. Rachel began their career in 2012 as a Teaching Assistant and Research Lab Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2014, they were a Design and Field Engineering Intern at Parking Structure Builders Inc. Rachel then moved on to Jacobs Engineering in 2015 as a Project Management and Architectural Design Intern. In 2016, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, a Revit Modeler at Bowes Spiegel Architects and Project Managers, and an Energy Modeling Intern at Stantec. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at Build Change and a Smart Building Engineer, Smart Buildings Specialist, and Smart Buildings Intern at WSP USA. In 2020, they joined Switch Automation as a Technical Lead - Smart Building Solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Customer Success Engineer at Clockworks Analytics.

Rachel Kennedy has an extensive educational background in the field of Architectural Engineering. Rachel obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2016 and their Master of Science (M.S.) from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018. In addition, they hold two professional certifications: Professional Engineer (PE), Mechanical HVAC, obtained from NCEES in March 2021, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), obtained from Cisco in February 2020.
