Sabra Noordeen currently serves as Chief of Staff at the Clooney Foundation for Justice since January 2024. Prior to this role, Sabra held various significant positions, including Special Envoy for Climate Change and Secretary of Foreign Relations at The President's Office from November 2018 to November 2023, where responsibilities included advising on foreign relations and overseeing key foreign policy objectives such as human rights and climate advocacy. Sabra was also a member of the central campaign committee for the Maldivian Democratic Party from February 2012 to November 2018, contributing to several election campaigns, including those of Presidents Nasheed and Solih. Additional experience includes positions as Political Aide at the Office of President Nasheed, Non-Legal Consultant at the Office of Amal Clooney, Director-Analyst at Maldives Police Service, and Political and Press Officer for the British High Commission in Colombo. Sabra Noordeen holds a Master of Science in State, Society and Development from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Anthropology from the University of Sussex.
