Vic W.

Vic W.'s work experience includes serving as the President of Clopay Corporation since October 2021 and previously as the Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Operations. Prior to Clopay, Vic was the Vice President of Operations at Newell Rubbermaid, where they implemented lean practices and improved service and margins. Vic also worked at GE as a Sourcing Manager and Contract Administrator/Manager, reducing material costs and supporting vessel overhauls. Vic began their career in the United States Air Force as a Purchasing Supervisor.

Vic W. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they earned an Associate's Degree in Management/Asian Studies from the same institution from 1986 to 1990. Before that, from 1984 to 1990, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Community College of the Air Force. Vic W. also holds a certification as a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from the National Association of Purchasing Management, which was obtained in November 1995.
