She is also an independent non-executive director on the board of NHBC (National House-Building Council) and a trustee of Variety, the Children’s Charity and a non-executive director of the Royal Automobile Club.

Tesula has over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector. She qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has since held senior executive and advisory roles in the banking, insurance and pension fund sectors. She has deep financial and commercial expertise gained in a broad range of organisations, from investment banks to start-ups. Tesula was previously a Managing Director at JP Morgan and at UBS, specialising in corporate finance for financial institutions and pension fund risk management. She was also a founding member of the management team of Paternoster, the specialist bulk annuity insurer, where she was Business Development Director and a member of the Executive Committee. Since then she has worked as an independent financial consultant advising on business plans and capital raising.
