Carolyn Harf

Carolyn Harf is currently serving as an Activity Coordinator at Fleming Senior Center since October 2023 and has been a Tutor for Close Up Foundation since June 2022. Previous roles include Academic English Instructor at Uceda Institute, where tasks involved assessment creation and lesson planning tied to National Geographic ELL curriculum. Carolyn has extensive experience as a Writing Studio Tutor at Maryland Institute College of Art, providing support for various writing projects and instruction for English Language Learners. Additional positions include Adjunct Faculty in the Refugee Assistance Program at Baltimore City Community College, ESL Instructor at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School, and English Second Language Teacher at CASA. Carolyn's early career involved research and editorial roles, notably at the University of Maryland and AAAS, while holding advanced degrees in Geographical Sciences and related fields from the University of Maryland and Maryland University of Integrative Health.
