Daniel Hastings is a Curriculum Design & Program Specialist at Close Up Foundation since January 2017, focusing on developing lesson plans and resources in civics, government, and history for middle and high school students. Previously, Daniel served as an Organizer for the Ohio Democratic Party during the 2016 election, leading community engagement efforts in Mahoning County. Daniel gained early experience at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, working as a Reunion Worker and Student Photographer, and held a position as a Cashier and Front End Coordinator at Wegmans Food Markets. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, graduated in 2016, and is an alumnus of DeSales High School, class of 2012.
