CLOSE UP FOUNDATION
Scot Wilson has extensive experience in education and curriculum development, currently serving as Vice President of Academics at Close Up Foundation since September 2006. In this role, Scot is responsible for developing innovative approaches and curricula for professional development initiatives and special programs. Scot has also held positions as Senior Academic Advisor and Curriculum Consultant. Previous experience includes serving as Academic Director and Curriculum and Training Specialist, focusing on training and coaching instructional staff. At Indiana University Bloomington, Scot taught multicultural and justice-oriented education, as well as social studies curriculum design for preservice teachers. Scot earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in History from The George Washington University.
