Shannon Gyles Friesen

Shannon Gyles Friesen, CPHR, has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Closer to Home Community Services and as Principal and Senior HR Consultant at ACTivate HR since April 2017. Throughout a career spanning over two decades, notable positions include Manager of HR Operations and Systems at Pengrowth Energy, Senior HR Consultant at PeopleSmart HR, and Director of HR Delivery at ENMAX. Shannon has also contributed to the Human Resources Institute of Alberta as Past Chair of the Board and has held various leadership roles within HRIA.
