Dominic P.

Dominic P. has over 15 years of work experience in the event management and media industry. Dominic started their career in 2004 as a Duty Manager at Arts Picturehouse and later worked as a Store Manager and Production Assistant at Supremebeing Ltd. In 2007, they joined UBM as an International Account Manager, where they were responsible for managing international accounts in the Safety & Health portfolio. Dominic then moved on to UBM Live, where they served as a Senior Account Manager, selling across a portfolio of products including health and safety events and digital advertising. In 2012, Dominic joined UBM plc as an International Sales Manager, specializing in multi-platform business to business media solutions. In 2014, they transitioned to a Sales Manager role at CloserStill Media, working on Asia's leading Cloud exhibition and conference. Dominic then advanced to become an Event Manager for the Cyber Security World Asia event and later became the Event Director for the Cybersecurity Portfolio in Singapore. In 2020, Dominic co-founded APAC Cyber Channel, and in 2023, they assumed the role of Group Event Director for the Cybersecurity Portfolio at CloserStill Media. Throughout their career, Dominic has demonstrated expertise in event management, international business, and digital media.

Dominic P. attended Anglia Ruskin University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BA (hons) degree in Film & 20th Century European History and Politics. Their degree was classified as 2:1. Prior to university, Dominic attended Chesterton Community College and Long Road Sixth Form, although the specific years of attendance and any degrees or fields of study achieved at these institutions are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Dominic has obtained several certifications. In May 2020, they completed the "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines" and "Cybersecurity Foundations" courses from LinkedIn. Dominic also completed "The Persuasion Code: The Neuroscience of Sales" course from LinkedIn in the same month and year.
