Matthew Dirs

Matthew Dirs has over 17 years of work experience in finance and leadership roles. Matthew started their most recent position as Vice President Finance at CloserStill Media in 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Director at Cushman & Wakefield, Seven Point Partners, and ITE Group plc between 2014 and 2019. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Vice President - Americas at UBM Live. Before that, they held the position of Divisional Financial Controller at UBM International Media from 2007 to 2011, where they were responsible for financial management across various offices. Matthew also worked as a Divisional Financial Controller (Consultant) at UBMi Built Environment in 2006 and as a Finance Consultant at Audio Partnership in the same year. Matthew Dirs began their career in 2002 as the Group Financial Controller at Dennis Publishing, where they worked until 2005.

Matthew Dirs attended BPP College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a certification in ACMA Certified Management Accountancy. Prior to that, they attended the University of Portsmouth from 1991 to 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management.
