Gerardo Caceres

Gerardo Caceres is the current Chief Operating Officer at ClosingCorp. Gerardo was recruited by the CEO to fill a pivotal role soon after their arrival, and has subsequently served as their key advisor for transforming the organization from one suffering from years of unsustainable cash burn to an industry leader.

Gerardo has been instrumental in designing and implementing ClosingCorp's enterprise strategy, authoring their strategic roadmaps and business plans. Gerardo has partnered with a cross-functional executive team to identify opportunities, streamline and reengineer processes and product offerings, driving profitability and market leadership.

As Chief Operating Officer, Gerardo is responsible for daily operations and oversees a team of direct report managers and staff. Gerardo develops and tracks KPIs, mentors, coaches, and develops team members. Gerardo also evaluates individual performances and skills as well as creates personal success plans.

Gerardo serves as a bridge between key clients, leadership teams, and stakeholders. Gerardo ensures alignment, proper expectations, successful delivery, and implementations. Gerardo is also responsible for full financial accountability including P&L, budget creation and cost controls, capital investments, financial forecasting, and monitoring financial KPI’s, project budgets, vendor expenses, cash flow, and other expenses.

Gerardo evaluates and analyzes opportunities for company growth and improvement. Gerardo implements growth solutions in key areas, including business processes, finances, technology upgrades, staffing structure, and policies. Gerardo also analyzes customer intelligence, competitor knowledge, and industry

Gerardo Caceres has a MSc in Information Management from Lancaster University, a BSc in Computer Systems for Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and certifications from Scrum Alliance in Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) and Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T), Bank of America in Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma DFSS, and GE in Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB).
