Emily Olsen

Emily Olsen is an experienced nonprofit leader currently serving as the Executive Director of Cloud City Conservation Center since December 2019, where Emily focuses on health equity and environmental justice through community engagement and strategic partnerships. Previously, Olsen held roles such as HEAL Manager at Lake County Build A Generation, where efforts to expand food access were led, and Operations Director at Denver Food Rescue, significantly increasing food distribution. Other notable positions include Event Coordinator at FERAL, where community events were managed, and a FoodCorps Service Member, connecting children to food through educational activities. Olsen's early career included managing volunteer programs for The Fresh Air Fund and sales roles at The New York Running Company. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from New York University, earned in 2011.
