Huseni Saboowala

Huseni Saboowala has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Huseni began their career in 1997 as a Solutions Architect at Telecom Technologies Inc, where they architected Voice, Video and converged communication solutions for major US Service Providers. In 2002, they moved to dynamicsoft Inc. where they held the role of Senior Architect until the company was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2005. At Cisco, Huseni was a Senior Technical Leader in the Cloud and Security Office of the CTO. In 2015, Huseni Co-Founded and became CTO of SmartOrbis, an AI-powered IoT security platform delivering device profiling, visibility, and threat detection. Huseni raised funding from Silicon Valley VCs, filed patents, inspired and grew a team of world-class experts in cloud, machine learning, networking, and big data. In 2019, Huseni Co-Founded and became CEO of Cloud Defense, Inc, introducing a revolutionary approach to uncovering and protecting sensitive cloud data from modern ransomware and exfiltration attacks.

Huseni Saboowala obtained a Masters degree in Software Engineering from Kansas State University between 2000 and 2003, with a focus on distributed systems and AI. Huseni also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics from the University of Mumbai, with a focus on advanced microprocessors and DSPs. Additionally, Huseni Saboowala has obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for their Security Specialty and from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) for their Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
