Sudhakar Sundararaj Iyyapillai

Sudhakar Sundararaj Iyyapillai has over 17 years of experience in the tech industry. Sudhakar began their career in 2003 as a Senior Development Engineer Lead at iLink Multitech Solutions. Sudhakar then moved to Yelp in 2010 as a Senior Development Engineer Lead, where they developed a Windows Phone 7 mobile application for Yelp. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Technical Lead at Krames Exit-Writer, where they led a team of 10 members to design, develop, and deploy tools for discharge instructions solution in various languages, discharge patients, electronic prescription writing, and medication reconciliation. Sudhakar then joined The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2014 as a Technical Architect, where they worked on a multi-million dollar initiative to migrate content from OpenCMS intranet site to SharePoint 2013 intranet site. In 2012, they joined AT&T as a Technical Lead, where they were responsible for designing and developing highly scalable and extensible applications that integrate with multiple systems. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Technical Lead at Univar, where they served as a Technical Lead for a multi-million dollar initiative to deliver BI for Sales and Operations through Amazon Redshift Data warehouse, Informatica cloud (as the iPaaS layer) and Tableau (for building intuitive dashboards). Finally, they joined CloudIQ Technologies in 2017 as a Cloud Architect, where they designed, implemented, and maintained cloud infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.

Sudhakar Sundararaj Iyyapillai obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from both the College of Engineering, Guindy and Anna University. In addition, they hold a Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, obtained in October 2019, as well as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, obtained in September 2015.
