Valentine Luck has over 25 years of work experience in the IT field. In 1993, they began their career as Manager of Information Department at Jiansheng Futures Brokerage Co., Ltd, Wuxi, China. After that, they moved to Examen, Inc in 1994, where they served as Manager of Information Technology Department and grew the company's I.T. infrastructure from 8 to 180 people. In 2000, Luck moved to Media 2 Net, Inc, where they served as Technical Manager, Engineering. That same year, they also began working at Avcom Technologies as a Systems Engineer IV. In 2001, they began working at Gamet Technology as a Senior Engineer. In 2003, they began working at Razorstream as Manager of Systems Engineering. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at both Pier64, LLC as a Sr Systems Analyst and Luck Consulting as a Unix/Networking Consultant. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Riot Games as a Senior Engineer, where they worked on the team growing Riot Games infrastructure presence internationally to support the explosive growth of League of Legends. They also used Chef and IBM’s xCAT to provision, configure, monitor and maintain thousands of servers in datacenters around the world. Since 2019, they have been working at Cloud Life Consulting as a Sr. Automation Engineer.
Valentine Luck attended University of California, Davis from 1987 to 1992. From 1989 to 1990, they also attended National Taiwan Normal University and National Chengzhi University to study Chinese.
