Thomas Michael has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Thomas began their career in 1988 as a Software Architect at Boeing, working in the Aerospace Industry for NASA. In 1993, they moved to SESI as a Senior Software Architect in the Military & Defense Industries. Thomas then joined Intergraph in 1995 in the same role. In 1998, Thomas Michael began working for Microsoft Inc. as a Senior Software Consultant in the Retail, Oil & Gas, Public Utilities & State Government Industries, and then moved to the role of Virtual Chief Information Officer in the State & Local Government. In 2014, they became the Chief Information Officer at Madjax Inc. in the Manufacturing & Distribution Industry. In 2016, they returned to Cloud Navigator as Director of Business & Partner Development in the Public Sector. Finally, in 2017, they moved to Microsoft as the Virtual Chief Information Officer in the Higher Education Industry, and then returned to Cloud Navigator in 2019 in the same role, but for the Transportation, Energy & Public Sector.

Thomas Michael has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science/Information Systems from Austin Peay State University, which they obtained between 1980 and 1985. Thomas then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Management Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1995. In addition, Thomas Michael holds four certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in August 2019; ITIL 4 Foundation Certified from PeopleCert, obtained in June 2019; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in July 2019; and Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile;Download Free Scrum Body of Knowledge(381 pages), obtained in June 2019.
