Thorsten Scherler

Thorsten Scherler is a highly experienced software engineer, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at CloudBees since August 2022 and a member of The Apache Software Foundation since April 2003. Prior to CloudBees, Thorsten held the position of Principal Front End Engineer at The Linux Foundation, where responsibilities included product ownership and leading the development of the "Community management" feature. Thorsten has a significant background in software development, having held various roles including Senior Software Developer at Kaba, Owner of codeBusters S. L, and multiple project-based positions in mobile and web application development. Thorsten holds a Master of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Paderborn University, complemented by an Abitur in Mathematics.
