Kannan Jayaraman

Kannan Jayaraman has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Kannan started their career in 1994 at HCL Technologies Ltd as a Lead Engineer and Project Manager, where they oversaw software development projects and worked on networking protocols. Kannan then joined NetDevices India Pvt Ltd in 2004 as a Technical Leader and later became the SQA Manager, responsible for test strategy and execution for enterprise products. In 2007, they became a Technical Manager at Alcatel-Lucent, and in 2011, they joined Cisco Systems as a Senior Technical Leader. At Cisco, they worked until 2019 and was involved in technical leadership roles. In 2020, Kannan held roles as a Network Security Consultant at Inside Products and as a Principal Engineer at Elisity. Kannan also served as a Board Member at the India Internet Engineering Society from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Engineer at Cloudbrink from March 2023 onwards.

Kannan Jayaraman earned their M.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 1989 and 1993.
