Jeff Ploetz has extensive experience in the sales industry, with a focus on IT services and solutions. Jeff began their career at MCI/WorldCom as a Sales Executive, where they managed and expanded accounts. Jeff then worked at Exodus Communications and its subsidiary, Exodus, a Cable & Wireless Co., where they marketed data center and managed IT outsourcing services to Fortune 500 companies.

In 2004, Ploetz joined Savvis Communications as a Strategic Account Executive, selling IT-as-a-service solutions to Fortune 500 and large enterprise accounts. Jeff later moved on to CenturyLink, where they served as a Senior ISV Sales Executive, providing sales leadership for outsourced IT services. At CenturyLink, they also consulted with customers to define technical and business IT transformation requirements.

Ploetz joined Ensono in 2016 as a Senior Sales Executive, consulting with large enterprise clients to provide customized outsourced IT-as-a-service models. Jeff established on-site team presence and support models to ensure customer satisfaction.

In 2018, Ploetz joined QTS Data Centers as a Sr. Sales Executive, creating new business opportunities for data center outsourcing, colocation, and managed services. Jeff expanded data center services to existing clients by working closely with their IT teams.

Ploetz then joined Virtana in 2019 as a Regional Sales Manager, marketing SaaS monitoring solutions for hybrid infrastructure and multi-cloud environments. Jeff successfully developed and closed new business opportunities by providing value and consulting closely with clients and partners.

In 2021, Ploetz took on roles at Spot by NetApp as an Enterprise Sales Manager and at CloudCheckr as a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive. At Spot by NetApp, they are responsible for enterprise sales, while at CloudCheckr, they provide comprehensive SaaS management solutions for companies and managed service providers.

Throughout their career, Ploetz has demonstrated a strong ability to consult with clients, develop customized solutions, and achieve business growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Jeff Ploetz completed their bachelor's degree in Economics and Performing Arts at Illinois State University from 1984 to 1987. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) including Amazon Web Services Business, Amazon Web Services Cloud Economics, Amazon Web Services Migrating to AWS (Business), Amazon Web Services Cloud Economics, Amazon Web Services Business Accreditation, AWS Cloud Financial Management, Managed AWS - Sales, AWS Solutions Training for Partners, AWS TCO and Cloud Economics, AWS Business Professional, and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner. The certifications were acquired between 2018 and 2022.
