Akarsh Kannan has worked in various roles across four companies. In 2015, they worked as a Sales and Service Associate - Liabilities at Citi India. In 2018, they joined Freshworks as an Account Executive, where they were responsible for full sales life cycle engagement from prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, development of the deal with end buyers, negotiating, and closing new business. Akarsh also articulated the ROI of Freshdesk across multiple stakeholders, understood their specific use cases, became a trusted advisor and sold across multiple departments and industries. In 2022, they moved to Kaseya as an Inside Sales Manager. Finally, in 2023, they joined CloudEagle (YC W22) as a Regional Manager - US & EMEA.
Akarsh Kannan has obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Product Management from Duke University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Civil Engineering from SRM University between 2010 and 2014. Akarsh also has a certification in The Persuasion Code: The Neuroscience of Sales from LinkedIn which they obtained in February 2022.
