Irma Laxamana

As chief legal officer, Irma is responsible for Cloudera’s worldwide legal affairs and compliance. She has more than 20 years of legal experience in the software industry and extensive knowledge across key practice areas that have enabled her to help build and scale the legal functions at fast-growing companies. Most recently, Irma served as deputy general counsel at Cloudera, and prior to that she was vice president of legal at Hortonworks. She has also played key legal roles at VMware, GoodData, and Wind River Systems. Irma holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Washington.
