Jim Gath

Jim Gath is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering management across multiple technology firms. Gath has held key roles at Cloudera since April 2015, currently serving as Director of Quality and Release Engineering Tools & Services, where responsibilities include managing a team to enhance engineering productivity and driving the adoption of tools within a distributed engineering team. Previous positions include Senior Manager of Core Product Quality Engineering at VMware, Senior Manager of GPU Software QA at NVIDIA, and Director of Central System Test at Network Appliance, among others. Gath's career began at Sun Microsystems, where contributions included leading quality assurance for enterprise server products and improving testing efficiency. Gath holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.
