Akash Deshpande

Dr. Akash Deshpande is a leader in AI infrastructure investments and technologies, currently serving as Vice President at Cloudflare and Principal at Sky Blue AI, while also acting as Executive Director of the Nevo Institute. They have extensive experience, having held prominent roles at Google, including Head of Mobile Network Analytics and Director of Technical Infrastructure, where they optimized network performance through innovative machine learning applications. Dr. Deshpande has also contributed to academia as a Professor at UC Berkeley and has held engineering and management positions at companies such as AT&T Bell Labs and Cisco. They earned a B.Tech in EECS from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Ph.D. in EECS from UC Berkeley.
