Alex Robinson

Alex Robinson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and software development. Notably, Alex served as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Cloudflare from January 2019 to October 2022, leading the development of innovative edge storage and coordination systems for the Cloudflare Workers serverless platform. Prior to this, Alex held roles at Cockroach Labs as a Principal Systems Engineer and core developer of CockroachDB, and at Google as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Kubernetes and Google Container Engine. Alex began a career in technology as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, contributing to machine learning systems in network security, and briefly interned at Facebook, enhancing content privacy checks. Alex holds a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
