Dimitris Antonellis

Dimitris Antonellis is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Cloudflare since August 2015. In this role, Dimitris oversees an organization responsible for products such as authoritative DNS and Resolver, having previously managed multiple teams as a Senior Engineering Manager and led the Load Balancing Team as an Engineering Manager. Dimitris was instrumental in designing and building Cloudflare Load Balancing from the ground up. Prior to Cloudflare, Dimitris held significant positions at Brocade as a Senior Software Engineer, OPNET Technologies as a Software Engineer, and gained teaching and research experience at the University of Southern California. Educational credentials include a PhD (currently on leave) and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
